We are committed to providing high quality agency flexible health and social care staff who will add value to your organisation and who will help you to achieve your objectives.

We will ensure that we understand your specific requirements before allocating staff. We are always available to give answers and make decisions quickly. We are available to visit projects and meet with clients at any time, in fact we encourage regular client meetings.

Skilled and Secure

Harmony Employment adheres strictly to the policies and procedures lay down by the Care Inspectorate who are currently accrediting our care services. We are a registered body with Disclosure Scotland (Registration No. THE21273). All our agency staff are members of the PVG Scheme. Staff are also SSSC registered where appropriate. We are registered with Peninsula Ltd employment specialists who keep us up to date with employment legislation.

We are very aware of the need for our clients to be certain that the staff we are providing are of the highest standard and each member of Harmony Employment has read and abides by the codes of practice set out by the SSSC codes of practice.

We believe that our staff should have relevant, current qualifications, skills and experience. That is why we offer regular training sessions to our members in areas such as moving and handling and food hygiene. We are able to run training sessions from our newly refurbished Edinburgh office.

Quality Services need Quality Staff

We believe in fair pay and are a Living Wage Employer as a minimum. We take care to support our staff on an on-going basis through supervision and training. This means that we can offer the best, and most motivated staff. The positive experience of clients means that our staff are often requested by name. Our high staff retention means that we can offer you continuity of service. We also offer our members full holiday pay at no extra cost to you.

We believe our members are amongst the best care, health and support providers in Scotland, to reward and retain them we provide them with training (provided by our in-house trainer Derek in our new training suit), full holiday pay and a pension scheme. Providing our members with these excellent conditions means our Customers get the very best service we can provide.

All Candidates applying to join Harmony Employment Agency must undergo a rigorous screening process including obtaining references, PVG Scheme and qualification verification. They will also be interviewed face to face to ensure their suitability and commitment to the highest standards in Social Care as set by the SSSC and the Care Inspectorate. Only then will they be registered as full members and be eligible for permanent or temporary work.

Accountability and Continuous Improvement

Providing a high and consistent level of service to our clients is hugely important. That it why we send feedback questionnaires about our staff if they are working regularly at one project, this feedback is then discussed with our members during support and supervision sessions.
